This is freaking awesome. it's unique, but technoish, and it's so freaking good!!!!! dude, you have talent. don't let the Bombers get you down.

dicennian responds:

Thanks ledge :) I thought it was some bombers too, I got around 3-4 0-2s in the beginning. But now it is at a stable 4 :) Happy you liked it :)

I don't see the problem.

I think the melody is catchy, and as long as it's catchy, it can repeat. I think you did a great job, i kinda wanna make my own remix, if you don't mind!!!!

dicennian responds:

lol sure

Definitely Refreshing!!!!

Wow, this a great palette cleanser from the other techno stuff on newgrounds. oddly enough my favorite was the bass. This is such a interesting sounding song. it's strangely addicting. everything just kinda...flows.

this is a great piece, my only gripe (which is 100% opinion) is the fact that...

IT"S NOT LONGER!!!!!! seriously this is incredible.

favorited, and downloaded

FairSquare responds:

Haha, thanks man :-)
And yeah, i always try to make my music sound different. I try to be original :P
Maybe i should've made it a bit longer, but i was afraid that it would become too repetitive.
Anyway, thanks for the review, the fav, the 5, the 10 and the download :D

I've noticed

you do a bunch of remixes. Not a bad thing, but to some people it seems kinda cheap. this is great though, i'm not sure if this is a remix, but it definite sounds familiar.

LK412 responds:

I wouldnt say i do a lot, but i do more than others.

This isnt a remix though, ive never heard anything that sounds like this.

Thanks for the review!

hmmm

This is a pretty bad ass remix. but MOAR vocals would be nice, the original was great because of that. other than that, i have no critiscm. you improved everything but that.

Thanks!

you are amazing.

you need to get an orchestra together! this song is really cool. it has kinda Japanese influence with the flute in it. please i beg you! could you review my songs? with a expert opinion like yours i'm sure i could get real critiscm.

FairSquare responds:

Haha, i hear that this song is kinda Japanese/Chinese a lot :P
And don't consider me an expert. There are many people who create better and more complicated songs. But thanks for the compliments and i'll see what i can do ;-)

perfect.

This is so freaking awesome i can't point out anything bad. I love the instrument that comes in around 0:42. What is it and how do you get that effect? it makes the song for me.

Rukkus responds:

Thanks for the great review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And the effect is called Side-chaining

wow!

it's weird to hear a techno song in the blues scale. it feels off. good combination though. All the instruments fit really well. and it's a great song. it starts to feel a ltittle over used in some places though...

Nijg responds:

thanks for the review!

lol almost all of my songs are on the blues scale
and almost all of them are techno

wierd....

the critical error gives it almost a pirates of the Caribbean feel. really freaking awesome!!!!!

Step responds:

Yeah lol, it does sound quite like the Pirates of the Carribean's main instrument, now that you mentioned it. I tried playing the theme with the critical stop on FL Studio, and it fits perfectly :P. Looks like Microsoft can be a good sound provider too... Who knew? Lol. Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it XD.

wow!

while i'm not as much of a musical scholar as the reviewers below me, I do really like the song. I think the emotional aspect of the song is extremely apparent, and I feel like i move with the music. This seems like you took it straight out of a dramatic movie. like the ending of (i know it's cheesy) Batman. when you think about it, it really works. I can't really offer any criticism, because my ear isn't trained enough to pick out notes, and the different planes of strings, and all that scholar-y stuff. But this is an amazing piece nonetheless. favorited and downloaded, when i can.

Animith responds:

I'm always interested in your opinion, whether you're a scholar or not. :)
Was definitely trying to go for the more emotional side of things; hence the high vibrato on the viola and the messing with different chords.
Very glad you enjoyed listening to it, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on it.

I'm a home producer who plays guitar and is into everything. Classical, Metal, Dubstep, techno, rock, a bit of rap,80's pop, indie music, everything. the only thing i don't like is country. Always open to collabs, and general chitchat!
